Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos is one of the island’s most visited towns. It is in the south of Tenerife in the Arona municipality, just 15 minutes from Tenerife South Airport. The excellent beaches along its coastline, the unbeatable leisure offering, the extraordinary setting, and the outstanding weather combine to make it such a popular destination.
Not long ago, it was a humble fishing village. Over time, its economic activity has evolved toward tourism, but there are still remnants of the town’s fishing past. The best example is its port, which has moved from mooring small fishing boats to being the main commercial port in the south of Tenerife.
Much of the daytime and night-time life in Los Cristianos takes place along the long promenade which connects the town with Las Americas.
