Tenerife’s tram network only covers journeys within the island’s metropolitan area.
Timetable and frequency
The tram operates Monday – Sunday, from 6am – midnight.
On Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, it operates 24 hours a day.
The frequency of the tram service varies depending on the time of year, although services are always very frequent. From Monday to Friday, the frequency of the service varies between 5 and 15 minutes. At the weekend, the frequency of service varies between 15 and 30 minutes.
Prices and how to pay
The price of a single ticket is 1.35€ (approx.). Single tickets can be purchased at the tram stops, and payment can be made either in cash or by credit/debit card.
There are also different transport cards that can be acquired and recharged at the same place. It’s a good idea to get one of these if you’re planning to use the tram a lot during your stay.
You can also pay through the ten+móvil app (iOS, Android).
