The north is simplicity, peace and beauty. The south is all movement, coastline and cloudless skies. Each region is different from the others, and each has something special to offer. Below you can discover more about each of them, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gotenerife.net\/en\/tenerife-south-v-north\/\">the differences between them<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tenerife\u2019s two largest urban centres are <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong>, the island\u2019s capital, and <strong>San Crist\u00f3bal de la Laguna<\/strong>. These make up the Metropolitan Area. This, combined with the exciting pace of life means that the south is a highly desirable destination.
